Welcome To The Idiocy That Is JerroldB
Yessss! Wildin’ over here! I decided to create an entity that comprised all things that are me. From jokes, funny sketches, photography (enthusiast), graphic design, web design and various other endeavors – if I do it…it’s here.
I’ve spent the last 15 years perfecting my style of stand up comedy. I’m either rocking a pre-written set or freestyin’ praying that it works. Some times it does and other times, well, I grab my dough and bounce quickly, lol. You can check my Upcoming Shows if you’d like to see me live. I actually put on a memorable show. So now my scatter-brained ass wanna be a photographer. After a lifetime of being an artist and symbiotically attaching myself to the digital world, it was only natural to want to conquer something else. I’m seriously wet behind the ears but I LOVE creating digital pics! But I’m gonna let you be the judge of my work. Jerrold Benford is currently establishing himself as a fixture on the eastern comedy circuit. He was born and raised in Virginia, but began his career in New Jersey, where he quickly made a name for himself.
Jerrold has performed in New Jersey and New York’s finest clubs including: Rascals, Broadway Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, Stand Up NY, Gotham Comedy Club, Stress Factory and the renowned Caroline’s on Broadway. He also features and headlines clubs, colleges, and private functions from the east coast to the west.
“My first actual comedy club headline opportunity came from Catch A Rising Star in Princeton, NJ. They continually bring me back to close the show.”
His distinctive perspective on dating and marriage topics combines with a high energy, friendly delivery to create wickedly clever content and a wildly funny act. His eye for absurdities in everyday life and his quirky, unique writing style leaves crowds in stitches.
Jerrold has been described by audience members as “hilarious” and “funny as hell”, while bookers have labeled Jerrold as a definite “rising star”.
